For years latvijas banka has used packaging for their collection coins that was taken from the jewelry world — padded flip-box. Our aim was to create a new form of the package that compliments the contents and is attractive, elegant and functional.

The solution is a sturdy cardboard box covered with distinctive design paper in the brand color of the bank. At the front of the cover a cut-out in the shape of a rising sun, that is derived from the Latvijas Banka logo, helps to differentiate varieties of collections, as the graphics of the brochure are seen through. But most importantly it ads value to the coin that is a piece of art itself.
